Italian Bakery in Addison

All I can say is Terrible service! Their bakery goods are not bad but I just left this place and they have absolutely no system for picking up orders on Christmas eve.If I was not picking up an order for someone else I would have left and some people did,also I get that it is busy because of the time of year but is it that hard to put a smile on your face its not like you dont it's going to be busy and after your customers wait more than 40min for a placed order I dont need your attitude like I'm bothering you.Here is a suggestion you should have people working orders only and people working the counter for walk-ins.This place needs a better system

I hadn't been there in years and thought I would buy some sweets for a family visit. Very good pastries.

My favorite bakery! Wouldn't go anywhere else. They have made my wedding cake along with all the desserts for my wedding. Today I went for a canoli cake, 3 pounds of cookies and some mini canoli. Celebrating all the August birthdays in the family and you have to have the best dessert! Remember they ONLY accept cash!

Eating the sweets from Italian bakery brought tears to my eyes. The cakes bread cookies taste just like my grandmother's. I never thought I ever get to take anything like her baked goods again. It brought back so many memories like Sunday dinner. The cake o git was for my mother's birthday. My mother loved her cake and the bread I pick up for her gravy she dips it in. Thank you Italian bakery for such wonderful experience. I will only get my cakes cookies and pizza bread from you now.

Employees were friendly and had a pleasing personality. Cookies were so good that my daughter would always tell me to always buy. The place was clean too.

This is a small local Bakery that makes delicious pastries and cookies. The pastries are available in full size and petite size. The petite size is the same product as the full sized pastries. They offer the ability to get a taste of several of the large pastries in a small sample.

I wish I could give more!!! Have been going there for almost 30 years!! I love my cannoli cake try to get it every year!!!!

Italian Bakery is exactly what you get here and it is worth every cent. I stopped by to pick up some cannolis for The Super Bowl party and they were an absolute hit! Reasonably priced, freshly made from the finest ingredients and served up with a smile. Bring your appetite and bring your cash because they don't take debit/credit cards but after you try it once, you'll be hooked!

I know this place has loyal customers for a long time, which I was referred by, but I wouldn't tell anyone to go to this place. They made my wedding cake on September 30th. When we placed the order, we told them for 4:30 and they didn't say anything or seem to have a problem. Then the week of, they tell us it has to be 1:00, which was earlier then we even had the venue. Then, the DAY OF, they showed up at 9:00 in the morning and the owner of the venue had to drive all the way over there to let them in. When cutting the cake, it completely fell apart. Not to mention the color was completely wrong. I told them dark red, like maroon, but it was purple??? Not sure how they got purple from dark red. Will never be ordering from here again.

You will not find a better cannoli in Chicago. Everything they sell here is delicious and fresh. Remember it's cash only! My only wish is that they were open later in the evening so I could stop by after work more often.

We drove half an hour to get here, and we found out they only accept cash. A very aggressive all caps sign on the door, and nothing on the Internet said so. We had been so excited, and we turned around with our bawling toddler. He started crying when we told him we couldn’t get him the year we had gotten him excited about in the car. It’s so easy to either set up to accept credit cards or advertise online saying you don’t accept cards. Ridiculous. No atm either.

What a fabulous place! The lemon knots are outstanding, but they're only served on Fridays. Delicious cookies/cakes. Try this place, you won't be disappointed.

Seriously, the best bakery in town. My family won’t go anywhere else for cookies, cakes, cannoli, etc. Everything is always fresh and just perfect. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anything there that was even “just ok” - it’s always amazing.They’re family owned and operated, and that much is obvious, because you get amazing customer service from people who really care about what they’re doing. Everyone is so helpful, but I’ve got to give Laura a shout out, because she always knows what’s up. She’s wonderful.You seriously can’t beat this place.

I was craving some good quality cannoli and found this bakery less than 20 minutes away. I thought I'd have to drive all the way to Chicago to get some. Overall, a great experience! The workers there were friendly. They fill their cannoli fresh per order, which is how cannoli should be served! The shell stays crunchy and it just makes for a better cannoli experience. I loved their cannoli! The ricotta was smooth and had just the right amount of sweetness. They also have a few chocolate chips in the filling, which was nice. I will be coming back for my cannoli cravings.
